Femi.Eko® educational projects
Femi.Eko® invests in menstrual education and equal access to knowledge. Our programs help students, teachers and parents understand intimate health in a simple and correct way.
We support initiatives that reduce stigma and increase access to safe resources.
Free guides and teaching resources
We provide updated and easy-to-understand educational resources for young people, parents and teachers. The Guide to the First Period is used in schools as basic material because it explains in simple terms what happens in the body, how to use menstrual products and how menstruation can be managed without anxiety.
The guide can be downloaded for free and is designed so that students receive correct information, adapted to their age and the situations they actually find themselves in. The purpose is to provide concrete support, reduce shame, promote open conversations and contribute responsibly and accessiblely to menstruation education.
Teaching kits in schools
Femi.Eko® supports partner schools through full sponsorship of menstrual education kits. The range includes all necessary products for practical presentations and understanding of modern menstrual care solutions.
The purpose is to create a framework for correct conversations, ensure access to reliable knowledge and a teaching environment where menstruation is treated naturally.
Colegiul Limmer, Hannover, Germany
"At Gymnasium Limmer we want to give students a holistic education about sexuality, body and intimate health. For us, menstrual products and open conversations about menstruation are a natural part of this learning process."
With the support of Femi.Eko®, we can provide free menstrual products in sex education and biology classes. This gives girls practical and respectful access to both knowledge and safe products. Femi.Eko® is an official sponsor of our school, and the collaboration has been simple, welcoming and much appreciated – exactly how an educational partnership should be.
We hope that more schools and educational institutions will follow this example, so that together we can create greater visibility, more education and more normality around menstruation.”
Statement from Nina Reinecke, Gymnasium Limmer, Hannover.
Tårnby Junior High School, Denmark
Femi.Eko® has sponsored Tårnby Youth School in Denmark with a complete kit of menstrual products for use in educational activities for young girls.
The package included teen cups, Delicate discs, Ida menstrual panties, applicators, tampons, pads and panty liners. The purpose of the sponsorship is to support menstrual education, present modern solutions and give young people access to safe products tailored to their needs.
Opinion from an expert in sexology
“If a woman gets her first period at 15 and goes through menopause at 55, and each cycle lasts about 5 days, that means she will be menstruating for more than 6 years of her life. That’s a long time. No one wants to put their life on hold for that long just because of menstruation. That’s why modern menstrual products need to be effective and adapted to the modern woman’s rhythm of life.
Femi.Eko® offers a wide range of quality products that allow women to live freely and stay active on all days of the cycle. More and more women are choosing to replace classic pads and tampons with menstrual cups, discs and containers as well as reusable pads and menstrual panties. Not only because the solutions are more sustainable or economically advantageous, but especially because they feel better and work effectively.
I use Femi.Eko® products in my presentations to show women how much of a difference modern solutions can make for comfort during menstruation – and more.”
