Is IDA only for teens?
No. It can also be worn by adult women who prefer the hipster fit. You choose based on measurements, flow and comfort – not just age.
Do I also need to use a pad?
Not necessarily. IDA can be worn on its own if the absorbency is enough for your flow between changes. You can combine different types of protection according to your needs and preferences.
How do I know when I need to change?
Change pairs if you feel damp for a longer time, or if you notice the fluid is no longer absorbed as well. Don't wait for the maximum wear time if you need to change sooner.
How do I prepare for a school day?
Bring a clean pair and a waterproof bag for the used pair. Check during breaks whether you need to change. When you get home, take the pair out of the bag and follow the care instructions.
Can I wear them for sport?
You can wear them for physical activity if they fit your body well and you feel comfortable. Check before and after the activity whether you need to change. For swimming, choose a period product designed for water.
How do I choose a size for a teen?
Measure waist and hips and use the product's guide. Age is only a guide; the underwear should sit close to the body without being tight or leaving large gaps at the gusset.
