Fold the cup into a C or U shape, insert and let it open below the cervix; check the seal by gently rotating. Empty, rinse and reinsert. The adjustable stem can be trimmed.

How to use the Femieko Menstrual Cup + Universal Applicator

The instructions below combine correct use of the applicator and the cup for a simple, hygienic and comfortable experience.

🧼 Hygiene before use

Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before handling the cup or applicator. Make sure both products are clean before use.

🔧 Preparing the cup and applicator

Fold the menstrual cup into a C or U shape and place it in the opening of the applicator – like in a syringe.

Important: Insert the cup into the applicator from the top down, without pushing it all the way to the end of the tube.

You can use a water-based lubricant for easier insertion.

➡️ Insertion into the vagina

Find a comfortable position – e.g. with one leg raised or sitting on the toilet.

Gently insert the applicator into the vagina at a slight angle towards the anus, about three quarters of the way in.

Slowly press the plunger to release the cup correctly – the applicator doesn't need to be inserted all the way.

🔄 Correct placement of the cup

After releasing it, check whether the cup has fully opened.

Gently rotate the base or pull lightly on the stem to make sure the vacuum has formed.

A correctly placed cup gives leak protection and maximum comfort.

😌 How to remove the cup

Lightly tense your abdominal muscles.

Press on the rim of the cup to break the vacuum.

Then gently pull the cup out.

If necessary, you can use the applicator's spatula to help break the vacuum.

⏳ Wearing time

The cup can be used for up to 12 hours – depending on your flow.

It can be worn safely during sport, work and sleep.

🧴 Cleaning after use

Wash the applicator with warm water. Boiling isn't necessary thanks to Saniconcentrate™ technology.

Rinse the cup with cold water to remove residue, and clean it with Femieko disinfectant spray instead of soap.

Sterilising before each use isn't required, as the technology maintains antibacterial protection.

After cleaning – let the cup and applicator dry completely.

Store them in their fabric pouches to keep them clean for next use.
