Three layers in the absorbent area, complemented by the outer fabric.

100% polyester. Forms the innermost surface against the skin, on top of the absorbent layer.
80% polyester and 20% nylon. Takes in and holds menstrual blood in the swimsuit's absorbent area.
Waterproof and breathable TPU membrane. Complements the absorbent layer and helps limit fluid from leaking out.
82% nylon and 18% elastane. The stretchy fabric forms the outside of the swimsuit and gives freedom of movement in the water.

Questions about the Eva period swimsuit
Can I swim in Eva without a tampon?
Yes, on light or moderate flow days you can wear it on its own. The period protection is built into the swimsuit. On heavy flow days, you can combine it with a menstrual disc, a cup or a tampon that suits your flow.
How long can I wear it in the water?
When you need to change depends on how heavy your flow is. The first few times, check more often whether you need to change – both in the water and during breaks on the beach. For a long day at the pool or the sea, you can bring an extra swimsuit.
How do I choose the right size?
Compare your hips, waist and bust with Eva's size guide, which covers XS–3XL. Also check the length of your torso: the swimsuit should sit comfortably with the edges close to the body, including on the strapless side. Don't choose a smaller size to increase absorbency.
Can the strap be adjusted?
Yes. The adjustable strap helps you adapt the swimsuit's fit to the length of your torso. Once you've adjusted it, raise your arms and check that the bust area still sits comfortably on both sides. Adjusting it complements choosing the right size.
Can people tell it's a period swimsuit?
From the outside, Eva looks like a one-piece with an asymmetric one-shoulder fit. The layers that absorb menstrual blood are integrated on the inside, in the gusset.
Can I also wear it when I'm not on my period?
Yes, you can also wear Eva outside your period days, as a regular swimsuit. The absorbent area stays integrated on the inside. After the pool or the sea, follow the same rinsing, washing and drying instructions.
How do I wash and dry it?
Rinse in cold water after use, then wash at 30°C without fabric softener. Air-dry it out of strong sunlight, without a tumble dryer. Follow the label, and let the absorbent area dry completely before wearing it again.
How do I carry the swimsuit after swimming?
On the way home, you can use a waterproof bag. Take the swimsuit out of the bag when you get home, rinse it and wash it according to the instructions. Avoid leaving it wet in a closed space for a long time.
