How to use Femi.Eko® Menstrual Cup + Universal Applicator

The instructions below combine correct use of the applicator and cup for a simple, hygienic and comfortable experience.

🧼 Hygiene before use

Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water before handling the cup or applicator. Make sure both products are clean before use.

🔧 Preparation of cup and applicator

Fold the menstrual cup into a C or U shape and place it in the applicator opening – like in a syringe.

Important: Insert the cup from the top down into the applicator without pushing it all the way down to the end of the tube.

You can use a water-based lubricant for easier insertion.

➡️ Insertion into the vagina

Find a comfortable position – for example, with one leg raised or sitting on the toilet.

Carefully insert the applicator into the vagina at a slight angle towards the anus, approximately three-quarters of the way in.

Slowly press the plunger to release the cup properly – the applicator does not need to be inserted all the way.

🔄 Correct placement of the cup

After release, check if the cup has opened completely.

Gently twist the bottom or pull the stem lightly to ensure the vacuum is formed.

A properly placed cup provides leak protection and maximum comfort.

😌 How to remove the cup

Slightly tighten your abdominal muscles.

Press the edge of the cup to break the vacuum.

Then carefully pull out the cup.

If necessary, you can use the applicator spatula to help break the vacuum.

⏳ Usage time

The cup can be used for up to 12 hours – depending on flow.

It can be worn safely during sports, work and sleep.

🧴 Cleaning after use

Wash the applicator with warm water. No boiling is necessary thanks to Saniconcentrate™ technology.

Rinse the cup with cold water to remove residue and clean it with Femi.Eko® disinfectant spray instead of soap.

Sterilization before each use is not required as the technology maintains antibacterial protection.

👜 Storage

After cleaning – let the cup and applicator dry completely.

Store them in their cloth bags to keep them clean for next use.
