Three layers in the absorbent area, complemented by the outer fabric.

80% polyester and 20% nylon. Absorbs and holds the menstrual blood in the absorbent area of the bottoms.
Waterproof and breathable TPU membrane. Complements the absorbent layer and helps limit fluid from leaking out.
79% nylon, 14% metallic fibres and 7% elastane. The metallic fibres give the fabric the Galaxy model's characteristic sparkle, and the elastane adds flexibility.

Yes, on light or moderate flow days you can wear them on their own. The period protection is built into the bottoms. For a heavy flow, you can combine them with a menstrual disc, a cup or a tampon that suits your flow.
How long can I wear it in the water?
When you need to change depends on how heavy your flow is. The first few times, check more often whether you need to change – both in the water and during breaks on the beach. For a long day at the pool or the sea, you can bring an extra pair of bottoms.

Does the Galaxy bikini top come with the bottoms?
No. This product is the Galaxy period bikini bottoms. The Galaxy bikini top is sold separately, so you can choose the right size for each piece. You can also match the bottoms with another swim top.
What gives the material its shimmering look?
The outer fabric contains 14% metallic fibres together with nylon and elastane. They give the Galaxy model its characteristic sparkle. The absorbent area is integrated separately on the inside of the bottoms.
How do I wash and dry it?
Rinse in cold water after use, then wash at 30°C without fabric softener, according to the label. Air-dry away from strong sunlight, without a tumble dryer. Let the absorbent area dry completely before using them again.
Can I also wear it when I'm not on my period?
Yes, you can also wear Galaxy outside your period days, as regular swim bottoms. To carry the used bottoms, you can use a waterproof bag; take them out when you get home and follow the washing and drying instructions.
